RERS Rose Show Awards Dinner.
Join us as we celebrate our winners from the May Rose Show.
Potluck Dinner 6:30 PM with awards presentation to follow.

Dead Heading Demonstration.
Learn how dead heading is critical to your repeat blooming roses and how it will extend their flourish from spring right through until late fall. We'll also show you how to shape your one-time bloomers for a picture perfect bloom.

RERS Member Summer Picnic & Potluck
Join your fellow rose society members at the annual Summer Picnic with potluck-style picnic foods.

Here's your opportunity to ask the rose experts, a panel of RERS Consulting Rosarians, your questions about all things roses including best types of roses to plant in Sonoma County, general care and feeding schedules, when to prune, when to dead head, etc.

Classification of Roses. Presented by Jan Burnham.
Come with notebook in-hand and join us for a "Roses 101" lecture on the different classifications/types of roses. We'll explain the differences (and similarities) between three (3) main groupings: Species (wild roses); Old Garden Roses (classes in existence before 1867); and Modern Roses (classes in existence after 1867 such as a Hybrid Tea, Floribunda, Grandiflora, Climbers, etc).

Free and open to the public.

2024 Officer Installation and Holiday Potluck Dinner.
Set up begins at 5:30pm. Officer Installation for 2024 Board Members at 6:30pm, followed by a holiday potluck dinner. Dish selections/assignments and more details will be presented at the October Meeting.
