Lou will share various ideas, methods, and “tricks” he uses to create beautiful photographs suitable to hang on the wall as art. He'll cover tips on lighting, angles, depth of field, and overall photo composition to get the winning shot. His information will also be useful if you plan to enter rose photos in local and national contests.
About Lou Evans:
Accredited Horticultural Judge and Accredited Arrangement Judge, Lou has enjoyed photography for over 40 years. He started seriously photographing roses about 12 years ago, primarily to enter his local society, NCNH District, and American Rose Society Photography Contest. He has won top prizes at all three levels. Lou and his wife grow about 145 roses of all types in their Livermore garden, and he enthusiastically exhibits in rose shows throughout Northern California.
