Miniatures & Minifloras

A Miniature rose has been selectively bred to stay small throughout its life. They have smaller flowers than standard rose bushes, but come in the same variety of colors as their larger counterparts. Because "Minis" are propagated on their own roots (and not grafted onto rootstock) they are winter-hardy in most all zones and are often prolific and repeat bloomers.

Minifloras are larger in bush and bloom size than Miniature roses. The average size of a Miniflora is between 2 ½ to 4 ½ feet tall. The Miniflora class was developed to segment rose bushes which are too large in bush or bloom size to be classified as miniatures, yet smaller than Floribundas, Grandifloras, and Hybrid Teas.
